The Challenge
As one of the world’s largest master planned communities, Irvine seeks to create and maintain living, working, and recreational areas that are safe, vibrant, and aesthetically pleasing. The City’s priorities include public safety, open space preservation, energy conservation and recycling, multi-modal transportation, education, infrastructure rehabilitation, affordable housing, and public services.

The Solution
For 20 years, we have assisted the City and special districts within the City with complex environmental, regulatory, and engineering challenges. We have provided services from biology and habitat restoration, to construction management and inspection, to pest control and urban forestry, including serving as the City’s on-call urban forestry consultant for more than 15 years. We also have a long history providing both environmental and engineering expertise to the Irvine Ranch Water District for water infrastructure projects including reservoir conversion, sewer system master planning, hydraulic modeling, habitat restoration, and environmental documentation.

In Our Words
“The City has invested in a fantastic urban forest. We work as extension of City staff to evaluate and assess trees to help keep Irvine’s streetscapes and parks looking great, including the use of cutting edge technology to efficiently determine which trees represent unacceptable risks.”
