We ranked as San Diego’s number one environmental consultant for the sixth consecutive year in the San Diego Business Journal’s 2012 list of the region’s environmental firms published this week.
List rankings are based on the number of environmental employees in San Diego County. Dudek has 181 environmental professionals in the region with 2011 revenues of $35.1 million, an 8 percent increase from 2010.
“We are exclusively California-focused, helping our clients navigate the labyrinth of environmental regulations and design standards unique to California,” said Frank Dudek, president. “While number one in San Diego, our statewide practice continues to grow, reflecting the large, increasingly complex market for our services.”
Dudek provides public and private sector client soup-to-nuts consulting services from project planning, design and permitting to construction management.
We are engaged in projects as diverse as designing safer, more efficient water and wastewater infrastructure to restoring California’s native habitat and wetlands to coastal development permitting. Specialties include endangered species management and mitigation, recycled water and desalination, cultural resources, wildfire management plans, and groundwater development and contamination.
“Getting projects approved in California is like solving a giant Sudoku puzzle,” Dudek said. “There are numerous complex issues that are all interrelated in terms of regulations. It requires a team of highly educated and experienced professionals working together to figure it out and methodically move a project forward.”
