Our arborists used advanced technology to evaluate trees in a minimally invasive nature and develop a monitoring plan for those with lower levels of decay that are not immediately at risk.

The City of San Diego’s 2021 Annual Housing Inventory Report presents progress made in 2020 toward the City’s housing production goals and initiatives to facilitate housing production. Dudek helped the City craft the report, which displays complex housing permit data in a format that can be easily understood by the public and decision makers.
“First Step: Developing an Urban Forest Management Plan for the City of Los Angeles” is a document that analyzed the City’s existing urban forest management practices, providing action items for improvement. Development of the plan was guided by in-depth engagement with City staff, elected officials, and community stakeholders.

Through an as-needed contract with the City of San Diego, Dudek is working on the comprehensive Mira Mesa Community Plan Update to update all of the plan’s elements and provide urban design services for four focus areas within the community.
The City of Santa Barbara was awarded a CAL FIRE grant to update their Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP) and craft a Program Environmental Impact Report (PEIR) for plan implementation. Dudek prepared the PEIR and CWPP, as well as facilitated virtual public outreach to inform both processes.
