Environmental Due Diligence
Our team of environmental engineers, geologists, and scientists work with public and private property owners to identify potential impacts due to hazardous materials, manage environmental liabilities, and mitigate risks. Our technical experts provide thorough environmental due diligence investigations in accordance with ASTM Standards for property transfers, development, and acquisitions, allowing our clients to make informed decisions regarding property transfers and development.

Research, Assess, Define
We have deep experience conducting environmental site assessment and remediation, which gives us an advantage in understanding complex sites and their potential impacts and determining environmental liabilities. We aim to provide you with meaningful and technically sound advice to make business decisions and move your project forward. Our recommendations for further investigation or mitigation consider your design needs, regulatory requirements, and the health and safety of your team and future property users. We can also provide desktop studies to evaluate potential liabilities and health and safety risks during development. Our recommendations will address potential environmental concerns and consider the proposed use or disposition of the property.

Phase I Environmental Site Assessment
Our professionals have conducted hundreds of Phase I ESAs and ISAs per the appropriate ASTM Standard and/or other applicable regulatory requirements. Our Phase I ESAs for school sites address DTSC guidance and CDE requirements. We also prepare Hazards Assessments and Hazardous Materials Technical Reports as a preliminary evaluation and in support of CEQA/NEPA documentation, as well as peer review existing technical studies. We are thorough in our research to identify recognized environmental conditions and/or environmental concerns that can impact the cost and risk of a property transaction, as well as the schedule of a project.
