Water Supply and Sustainability
Dudek offers integrated services for successfully developing groundwater sustainability plans (GSPs) from basin characterization and planning through stakeholder engagement and funding, to eventual GSP implementation. When developing GSPs, we identify potential environmental constraints, assess groundwater quality conditions, and anticipate stakeholder concerns.
Our project managers are experts at public outreach, developing written stakeholder outreach plans, creating participation lists, and facilitating public engagement opportunities both in-person and virtually. We work with groundwater sustainability agencies to develop water budgets and implement groundwater modeling that forms the technical framework for plan development.
Water Risk Management
With a deep bench of planning, engineering, and environmental expertise, our team has access to cross-disciplinary professionals to assist with regulatory framework, local and regional municipal agency compliance, and stormwater/surface water quality challenges. We are experts in the planning, design, and implementation of structural and non-structural stormwater best management practices, monitoring, as well as reporting for stormwater projects and jurisdictional programs.
Having worked in most of California’s 10 major groundwater basins, we understand and assess basins on a regional level to enable analysis of potential impacts from multiple projects. Then we synthesize data into practical, accurate models to allow for flexible basin management. On a project level, we identify potential environmental constraints, including water resources, topography, habitat, and pipeline interconnection early so you can develop dependable site plans and permitting strategies.
Facility Design, Planning, and Operation
Dudek works with clients to determine a project’s critical success factors, evaluate current operations, consider alternatives, and provide design solutions for infrastructure and facilities that meet codes/regulations, budgets and schedules. We provide expertise in the planning, design, construction, rehabilitation, and operation of water infrastructure and treatment including collection/distribution pipelines, storage facilities, pumping systems, reservoirs, and treatment plants.
